Delijan

Delijan (Persian: دلیجان delijān) is a town in Markazi Province, Iran, with a population of about 60,000 people. It is located 80Km (50 Mi) south of Qom and about 160Km (100 Mi) north of Isfahan.

The native population of Delijan speaks a dialect they call Delijani (or Diligoni in the native language). The native language of Delijan seems to be a version of the old-persian language, which is similar to the language spoken in Abyaneh one of the oldest persian village located about an hour away from Delijan.

Delijan is an industrial town and is home to several popular carpet companies as well as several companies producing Isogam (a type of roof isolation).
